NB Cellobabies is part of Stringbabies [Cello, Violin & Viola]. Kay's main site for Stringbabies is located here - it has the Stringbabies teachers directory, latest news and information etc.

This [the Cellobabies] site is therefore no-longer being updated [as of Aug 2010], but is being kept on-line for those who may have bookmarked any pages

Cellobabies & Violinbabies teacher directory

Cellobabies is centered in the Horsham area [Sussex], but is expanding all over the UK - you can find a list of teachers on our sister website Violinbabies.

Cello & Violin teaching

Here are some other sites that may be helpful.

www.cellocourses.com A great resources site, run by Catherine Black, a wonderful cellist and cello teacher in her own right.

Exeter Young Strings An exciting project led by dedicated and experienced string teachers. Kirsty Hugill, the Director, is going to establish two music centres as part of an inclusion programme for children from disadvantaged areas of the city and is using ‘Cellobabies’ and it violin version, ‘Violinbabies’ as the main teaching material!

This is tremendously exciting but the outcome is dependant on finding funding. If anybody is able to offer some sponsorship for this very worthwhile project, please email Kirsty

www.littlecellist.com Another great cello resources site, but specifically for children - lots of fun stuff!
